I've been using Titanium leader for sometime now, using a #1 or #2 crimp sleeve, depending on the thickness of the wire. The other day I used 55 lb. Titanium leader to tie it directly to a large 8 inch Wahoo diving plug, that we slow trolled with at around eight mph. The wire snapped right above the crimp and gone was the lure. The same results after losing two more expensive plugs. I suspect the back and forth radical action of the deep diving large plug was the cause. I will give your figure eight knot a try - thanks

Fished up and down the Natal Coast with my good buddy Nelson de Almeida and others, Buster Williamson, Corrie Vermeulen.Some of the best times of my life. Now almost 40 years in the USA, married and wishing I can do more fishing. Keep up the good work.

Looks like a great spot to fish. We may need to check that out I see a lot of the fish caught on the white hard plastic lures, can you advise what these are and where you get them.
